Module Aims
To develop the ability to access relevant scientific information from the primary literature, collate the information and write an overview of the subject chosen.

Learning Outcomes
  • To use chemical/analytical abstracts to access required information on a given subject.
  • To understand information contained in the primary literature pertaining to a given subject and determine its relative importance.
  • To collate information and write cohesive and well documented scientific report (5,000 - 6,000 words) on a given subject.
