To train students in Research Methods in Translation Studies and in the production of written texts in English.



Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

·         Locate and evaluate the relevance of scholarly works on research topics

·         Write a coherent research proposal

·         Identify and evaluate the most appriopriate methods for investigating different research questions

·         Take ethical issues into account

·         Students will be able to develop effective search strategies, evaluate information sources and utilise advanced features of library databases.

·         Evaluate the level of cohesion and coherence in texts

Revise their own and others’ texts
