Module Aims
This purpose of this module is to prepare students for the construction of a research thesis at masters degree level. It aims to introduce students to a range of research methodologies.

Learning Outcomes
Having undertaken this module, students will be able to:
  • Understand the process involved in the structuring of a thesis
  • Identify helpful sources, conceptualise terms and create coherent arguments within the framework of a literature review
  • Explore the philosophies behind various research approaches
  • To construct a research proposal.
