Description This module sets the level A2-B1 from the Common European Framework of Reference as its minimum exit level. It aims to further develop students' personal language-learning strategies that will enable them to become autonomous language users and learners. The module will improve students language competence through a revision of verbs and tenses and will increase fluency and vocabulary through a study and analysis of current social, political and cultural issues in Spain today. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. show increased confidence as an autonomous language student at 3rd level, with an increased sense of responibility for his/her learning 2. engage with texts, both written and audio, from different contexts dealing with social, cultural and polititcal issues in contemporary Spain 3. demonstrate an ability to employ correctly the present and past tenses and present subjunctive | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
