Description The purpose of this module is: To help students understand the relationship between psychological theory and its application to exercise and physical activity. To develop in students the skills to enable them to critically analyse current theory, research and practice within the field of physical activity and exercise psychology. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate a factual knowledge of physical activity and exercise psychology 2. Critically evaluate key psychological theories and how they relate to exercise and physical activity 3. Apply theories and principles of physical activity and exercise psychology to the individual and their environment. 4.
