Description

INACTIVE - This module sets the level A2+ from the Common European Framework of Reference as its minimum exit level. The module aims to further develop students' personal learning strategies. The module will also consolidate students' language competence with an emphasis on oral and written production. The module also seeks to heighten cultural awareness of essential aspects of Germany and the German-speaking countries. In addition, team work and oral presentation skills are fostered.

Learning Outcomes

1. Show an ability to read and extract from a variety of texts, identifying key-words, structure and main points
2. Perform an informative group oral presentation on a chosen topic
3. Retrieve relevant information from audiovisual sources in German on chosen topics
4. Demonstrate awareness and competence of key grammatical points at A2+ level
