The module will enable students to explore the principles and practice of primary health care, community health nursing and population health

Learning Outcomes

1. Debate the principles and practice of primary health care
2. Examine the concept of community and its relevance to understanding health care delivery
3. Debate the principles and practice of community nursing and its relevance to individual, family and community health
4. Discuss the principles of population health
5. Select relevant health care policy to the practice of community nursing
