Description

This module will analyse and provide an understanding of some of the key technologies currently used in the field of sports science and health. Students will examine the scientific principles underpinning various sensing and measurement technologies as well applying these principles to different athletic and clinical populations.

Learning Outcomes

1. Describe and evaluate different technologies currently used in health and human performance
2. Explain the practical applciations and limitations of the current sensing and measurement technologies available
3. Apply and implement the use of various technologies in different clinical and athletic populations
