Learning Outcomes 1. Describe the main features of bioreactors including Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) 2. Understand and be able to describe the main features of PID control systems 3. Be able to apply engineering principles to transport processes in bioreactors 4. Apply simple rules for the scale-up of bioreactors 5. Discuss and analyse the operation of cell disruption techniques 6. Formulate and apply equations for dead-end and crossflow filtration 7.
