Description

This module trains learners in secondary research in Translation Studies and develops their ability to write an extended academic essay in English.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify relevant sources of literature on topics pertaining to Translation Studies
2. Summarise and critically evaluate that literature using an appropriate academic register in English
3. Apply citing and referencing guidelines
4. Use a range of bibliographical resources
5. Develop a critical understanding of a sub-domain within Translation Studies
