Description

Each year DCU host the prestigious ICCR visiting Professor in Indian Studies. During their time in DCU each visiting Professor delivers an MA module analysing India as an emerging international power. The perspective taken by each visiting Professor is different and details of the course outline from the current year can be found on the modules loop site.

Learning Outcomes

1. Understand the cultural and social diversity of India
2. Understand the challenges for Indian democracy
3. Evaluate the role and power of India at a regioanl and international level
4. Analyse India's participation in international negotiations and institutions
