Description

This module equips participants with the skills to evaluate and develop appropriate online assessment and feedback approaches. This module promotes reflection on current assessment practices for academic practitioners involved in the assessment and feedback cycle. It asks educators to consider how assessment and feedback online can improve pedagogical practice. In this module participants will look at the opportunities and challenges that assessing online brings in the current context of Irish higher education. We will do this through examining current debates on e-assessment across the disciplines, looking at e-assessment possibilities within and outside the VLE.

2. Critique the key assessment and feedback issues in their own disciplinary context.
