INACTIVE - MA dissertation is an original piece of research on a substantive topic of interest in any field of international relations, international development, comparative politics, conflict studies, international organization or political economy. It counts for one-third of student's total marks for the programme; it is between 15 and 20 thousand words.

Learning Outcomes

1. produce a lengthy piece of original academic research on the topic of student's choice
2. develop an in-depth expertise in a particular subject
3. carry out investigation using a battery of research techniques and theoretical approaches
4. analyze, interpret, and critically evaluate findings
