This module is to introduce the student to anatomy and functional anatomy of the human body. Topics covered will include: Musculoskeletal Systems (functional anatomy) Cardiopulmonary and Vascular Systems, Lymphatic System, Central and Peripheral Nervous System, Nutrition System, Endocrine System, Urinary System.

Learning Outcomes

1. Name anatomical structures, organs and systems and in particular muscles, joints and bones involved in common sport movements
2. Describe human body anatomy, in particular joints, muscles and bones in terms of structure and function
3. Describe human body's structures and relationships
4. Associate muscles and joints to specific movements
