Description

This module is designed to equip students with the theoretical knowledge to design and deliver effective S&C programs in a high-performance setting.

Learning Outcomes

1. Distinguish between the primary training phases within an annual training plan and identify training priorities for athletes/teams within each phase
2. Identify suitable load management strategies to enhance performance, minimize the risk of over-training and reduce risk of injury
3. Recognize and consider the most effective communication strategies when coaching and cueing athletes
4. Search for and critically-appraise scientific literature
