Description This module will provide an overview of key themes in liturgical theology and explore elements of ritual and liturgy across different traditions. The elements of liturgy - tradition, narrative, ritual, symbol and worship - will be studied and related to the experience of the participants. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Exhibit awareness of the core elements of effective ritual across different Christian traditions. 2. Apply basic principles of Liturgical Theology to the preparation of a liturgical celebration. 3. Plan, prepare and participate in liturgies for a variety of occasions and seasons. 4.
