Description This module provides key research, writing and referencing skills for multimedia students towards preparing them for practice-based group projects that are grounded in theory. Students will develop basic academic writing skills, referencing, and the ability to summarise and critically analyse existing academic texts. Students will also learn the basics of prototyping and the iterative design process. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Recognise the importance of prototyping and demonstrate the ability to develop basic prototypes for multimedia projects. 2. Produce written content for a diversity of multimedia forms. 3. Understand the basic requirements for academic writing. 4. Develop the ability to summarise and critically analyse academic texts. 5.
