Description This module provides a framework for students to develop a critical theoretical awareness of media practice within a broader multimedia environment and provides the analytical, reflexive, and scholarly overviews necessary for students to grasp issues as they relate to the political economy, creative industries, and practice based/led research. Students through lectures, reading and writing will utilise and explore digital technologies in order to investigate their objects of study. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Develop knowledge in key theories of relevance to multimedia and the creative and cultural industries. 2. Develop a competency in understanding the interlinked relationship between theory and multimedia practice. 3.
