Description

To promote oral fluency at an advanced level; to highlight some of the more difficult areas of syntax and vocabulary associated with advanced fluency; to develop students' awareness of register and appropriate language in spoken situations;to improve and develop oral skills at individual and group level as a transferable skill. Materials used in this module are mainly pitched at CEFR level B2.2 or higher

Learning Outcomes

1. Participate effectively in discussions.
2. Defend a point of view coherently.
3. Demonstrate a good standard of pronunciation and intonation.
4. Research and orally present key points about a topic in a coherent, structured manner.
5. Summarise information orally.
6. manage, interpret and create meaning using a variety of digital devices and tools
