Description
This module aims to provide an overall knowledge and insight into employment law and the corresponding legislation and judicial elements that underpin employment law decisions. It aims to provide an understanding and appreciation of the everyday application of employment law in the workplace. This will equip students with a strong foundation in employment law so as to assist them in the crucial business of maintaining full legal compliance in the Irish workplace. Further, this module provides an introduction to the skills of negotiation in an employment context and the opportunity to practice them.
