Description The purpose of this module is to provide the student with the knowledge, skills and understanding essential for the effective understanding and analysis of human movement in the physical education context with a specific focus on theories relating to Motor Development and Motor Learning. The focus will be practical, experience being gained and expertise being developed in the observation and analysis of activities. Learning Outcomes 1. Identify and critically assess the constraints underlying the acquisition of skill, 2. Describe human movement using effective terminology 3. Identify and modify the constraints influencing the emergence of the motor coordination 4. Identify and correct errors in fundamental motor skill performance. 5. Differentiate the different scientific perspectives of the motor learning and motor development process. 6.
