Learning Outcomes 1. Analyse the key elements in the design process. 2. Generate alternative design solutions to meet design requirements 3. Perform a Faults Mode and Effects Analysis 4. Perform a Quality Function Deployment analysis and describe quality and regulatory requirements. 5. Perform a risk analysis for a product. 6. Be able to use Decision Theory to evaluate design and project options. 7. Implement the methodology of cost evaluation and value analysis. 8.
