Description

The aim of this module is to provide an overview of key principles, methods of investigation and studies of research in the psychology of perception. Particular emphasis will be placed on an explanatory framework within an historical and theoretical context.

Learning Outcomes

1. Critically consider classical and contemporary approaches to studying normal and dysfunctional perception
2. Describe the main theories and research findings in the psychology of perception
3. Evaluate key theories and research findings covered in the module
