Description

This is the 5th module in the Ethical and Multi-D Cert/Diploma pathway and is focused on research. The students will receive input on research methods in the area of values and comparative religious education in schools. They will develop a thesis proposal and proceed to develop and complete a research thesis.

Learning Outcomes

1. To develop an indepth knowledge of research issues in the area of ethical and multi-denominational education.
2. To explore the areas of most significant concern for research purposes in ethical and multi-d education.
3. To comprehend the relation between theory and practice in this area of education and to formulate a proposal for research.
4. To develop a thesis specifically focused on a particular relevent theme and to make an original contribution to knowledge in this area of education.
