Description

This practical module will cover the key skills in large-scale human genomic data analysis.

Learning Outcomes

1. Access and extract data from genomic databases
2. Run bioinformatic software on Linux
3. Prepare and assess high-throughput molecular data
4. Understand and implement appropriate data quality control prior to analysing human genomic data
5. Statistically assess the influence of genomic variation on human traits through genome-wide association studies
6. Identify variation in human next generation sequencing data
