Description

To provide the student with an understanding of modelling and analysis techniques for signals and systems. To provide the student with an understanding of basic probability and random variables in relation to signals.

Learning Outcomes

1. Derive and calculate an expression for the frequency response of a LTI system.
2. Simulate frequency responses.
3. Perform Fourier analysis of continuous and discrete-time signals and systems.
4. Compute the time-domain response of continuous and discrete-time systems.
5. Introduction to probability and random variables.
