1. LO5 Understand the importance of inter-disciplinary theory and practice in education as it engages with contemporary problems
2. Explore the role of ideology in education and society
3. Explore the inter-disciplinary dialogue across the Foundations which enable critique
4. Connect the insights of the approaches from the Disciplines to an awareness of contemporary problems in Irish education
5. Develop new approaches to engaging with problems of social injustice in the Irish context of education
6. Reflect on one’s own educational practice as it relates to the discourse of the Disciplines/Foundations
