Description

This module is designed to introduce learners to the use of computer software as an aid to composition. Learners will study methods through which Digital Audio Workstations and notation software can be used in tandem with each other to aid creative work and utilise composing time efficiently.

Learning Outcomes

1. Be able to use Studio One Digital Audio Workstation effectively and creatively
2. Be able to use MuseScore notation programme effectively and creatively
3. Be able to use both programmes as an efficient composition aid and tool
4. Show an ability to realise a composition through a computerised process
