Description This module is a micro-credential that will provide the student with the knowledge and skills to manage the care of individuals with dementia and their family/carers. The module has been designed in partnership with the National Dementia Office to address the educational needs of healthcare staff highlighted in the National Dementia Strategy. It covers the spectrum of dementia from prevention to the palliative end of the dementia journey and is relevant to those working in the community, acute care and long term care. This course offers a blended learning experience with three full days in DCU during 12 weeks of on-line education.
