Description
In this module, postgraduate research students will develop and apply the skills required for presenting and publishing their own research. The module covers the presentation of results in poster or oral format at a conference, as well as submission for publication as a paper in a journal.

| Assignment | 1. Reflective Journal: Students must submit an online reflective journal or blog, tracking the development of their paper/presentation. This documentation will be submitted to an assessment panel which will comprise 3 members of staff with appropriate domain knowledge to assess the topic. and this will count as 80% of the total coursework. | 80% | Week 1 | | Assignment | 2. Other: Student must either: (1) submit and have accepted a piece of research in a peer-reviewed journal OR (2) orally present their research at a conference or workshop.
