Description
This module aims to assist those undertaking the Grad Cert in Sexuality and Sexual Health Education and the Grad Cert in Relationships and Sexuality Education for people with Intellectual Disabilities to analyse the skills required to provide information and education to individuals and groups in the areas of relationships and sexual health. Students will become proficient in adapting and structuring
their teaching according to learner
preferences, abilities and requirements.

Learning Outcomes
1. Explore the method and practice of teaching in the context of relationships, sexuality and sexual health. 2. Critically evaluate a range of teaching methods 3. Engage with approaches to assessing diverse learner needs and learning styles 4. Develop a programme on relationships, sexuality and sexual health to meet the needs of a particular group of learners
