Description

International Enterprise Engagement seeks to provide participants with insight and understanding of the range of international, ethical, and sustainable strategic challenges in the responsible management of organisations in complex global contexts. This residency week abroad involves a series of site visits to a variety of firms including social enterprises to directly expose participants to a variety of management practices in different business and political environments. Participants will also identify the key issues confronting organisational leaders in global organisations and their alternative response styles.

Learning Outcomes

1. To provide participants with an understanding of international, ethical, and sustainable strategic concepts in leading complex global organisations.
2. Identify international challenges and opportunities in the responsible management of global organisations
3. To provide participants with on-site practical insights of how international teams operate for success when working in today’s global and virtual organisations.
4. Understand and critically management practices for sustainable strategic advantage in today’s VUCA environment
5. Understand the role of leadership in developing a culture of adaptability, innovation and entrepreneurship
6. Identify the requirements for successful, responsible leadership in today’s environment
