Description

The main purpose of this module is to increase students‘ fluency and accuracy in speaking and writing German as well as to improve their comprehension of both written and spoken German. The module is particularly designed to introduce students to business German vocabulary and concepts.

Learning Outcomes

1. Scan material written in German in order to locate desired information to fulfill a specific task.
2. Comprehend material presented aurally in German in order to locate information to complete a specific task.
3. Produce straightforward, connected written texts on familiar business topics and contemporary issues / current affairs.
4. Research information on a business topic and present it orally and in writing in different formats in a concise, comprehensible manner.
5. Participate in (either online or face-to-face) discussion on a business topic.
