Description
This module provides an introduction to business in the global context. As business increasingly spans across geographic borders the module aims to provide students with a solid understanding of how international business is shaped by local and regional contexts and how external factors impact upon the attractiveness of international markets.

Learning Outcomes
1. Appreciate the changing global marketplace and the factors driving change. 2. Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of suitable frameworks used to analyse and assess International markets. 3. Utilise secondary data to assess attractiveness of International markets. 4. Assess different market entry options and understand how firms internationalise operations. 5. Demonstrate an understanding of the role of culture in International business.
