Description
Introductory physics experiments for pre-service physics teachers that foster learning by inquiry, develop general scientific and investigative skills, and address common misconceptions in physics.
|
Learning Outcomes
1. Carry out physics experiments safely 2. Demonstrate conceptual understanding of mechanics, with an emphasis on statics, kinematics, electric circuits, and optics 3. Construct and interpret graphs and tables. 4. Carry out basic investigations in physics independently. 5. Report on carrying out and findings from physics investigations 6. State and test hypotheses 7. Reflect on own learning

| Reassessment Requirement Type |
Resit arrangements are explained by the following categories;
RC1: A resit is available for both* components of the module.
RC2: No resit is available for a 100% coursework module.
RC3: No resit is available for the coursework component where there is a coursework and summative examination element.
* ‘Both’ is used in the context of the module having a coursework/summative examination split; where the module is 100% coursework, there will also be a resit of the assessment
