Module Aims

To develop in students an understanding of the principles and concepts of supply chain management.

Learning Outcomes

This course will help the students to enhance their critical thinking skills through its emphasis on a systematic approach to the analysis of the key functions, responsibilities and challenges of supply chain management.

The topics to be covered in this module include: Introduction to supply chain management. Logistics network configuration. Inventory management, distribution strategies and strategic alliances. Customer value and coordinated product and supply chain design. Information technology and decision support systems for supply chain management.
