Description This module is premised on the idea that personal, interpersonal and social change are often associated with the mobilisation of human strengths. Learners explore this idea through the medium of personal development work and an examination of how strengths-based principles are employed in various fields of helping and health action. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Identify her or his strengths, skills and resources. 2. Formulate and realise goals for his or her own personal development. 3. Explore the use of strengths-based approaches in the helping professions, organisational development, and community development. 4.
