Description

This module will enable the student to advance their knowledge,skills of and attitude to research;to this end,the student will undertake a literature review of a contempory clinical nursing practice issue/problem and make recommendations for practice

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify a patient/client nursing issue that is specific to the students defined area of nursing practice
2. Specify a clinical/practice question pertinent to that patients/clients issue.
3. Locate and select relevant research literature on the issue to be investigated
4. Critique and summarise research literature on the issue to be investigaged
5. Propose recommendations based on the evidence drawn from the literature review
