Learning Outcomes

1. 1. demonstrate a knowledge of a range of theories related to poetry and poetics
2. 2. apply theoretical knowledge to the practice of critical reflection on their own and others’ work
3. 3. use a variety of poetic techniques in an integrated fashion
4. 4. show an apprehension of the craft involved in editing, re-writing, and constructing a body of work such as a collection or portfolio.
5. 5. Develop apt techniques for reading and performing verse
