Description The module surveys international and national developments in the aftermath of World War I, with particular attention to events in Italy, Germany and Spain and the re-emergence of world war in 1939; and it explores global relations and economic trends in the post-World War II world. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate an understanding of a broad range of issues in 20th-century History 2. Display a detailed knowledge of a range of particular issues, especially political and social revolutions 3. Negotiate different interpretations of mid 20th-century issues, such as the origins of the Cold War 4. Apply acquired analytical skills in dealing with a range of 20th-century topics 5.
