Description

The module provides a focus for students to undertake a sustained independent research project in a chosen aspect of Theology and Lifelong Education under supervision. This offers the possibility for students to examine in greater depth issues which they may have encountered in lectures, which may be of particular interest to the student and are academically sustainable.

Learning Outcomes

1. Locate and evaluate information from a variety of sources, cite references appropriately and assess the relevance of information.
2. Analyse and critique academic sources pertinent to a research theme.
3. Synthesise the finding of their research in collaboration with a research supervisor.
4. Write an undergraduate thesis (4,000 words) and thereby contribute to enhancing the learning of others.
5. Offer an informed perspective to others on the theme of their research
