Module Aims
The module aims to provide students with an understanding of the role that business and professional ethics have in our current environment.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module, students should be able to:

  • Appreciate the relevance and practical application of business and professional ethics in the working world;
  • Explain how corporate social responsibility and corporate governance relate to ethics;
  • Highlight the main ethical issues relating to the natural environment and information technology.
  • Convey an enhanced awareness of the role of business and professional ethics in financial reporting;
  • Recognise ethical issues and propose solutions to these issues.
