Module Aims
|
The module aims to enable students to identify and analyse key issues in the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion of minority and ethnic groups in society.
|
Learning Outcomes
|
- Students will be able to analyse the implications of catering for diversity in society and in schooling
- Students will be able to identify the 9 grounds set out in the Equality legislation.
- Students will be familiar with key EU and Irish Legislation on equality, diversity and inclusion in society and education.
- Students will be able to examine the implications of educational inequality for individuals, society and schools.
