Module Aims

The management report is a capstone assignment during which students undertake research into an aspect of HRM that has the potential to make a contribution to improvements in organizational performance. The management report brings together the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired during the course of the taught element of the programme and is underpinned by the module 'Researching HRM'.

Students will get hands-on experience in the process of creating a management report-from its inception to completion. The choice of topic and mode of completion will reveal an awareness of developments in report crafting.

Students will be guided toward 'data-rich' environments for their research. These contexts will be a mix of case studies emanating from sources including alumni leads (from part-time Masters in HR Strategies course), lecturer contact network and students'INTRA placements.
