Module Aims
|
The module aims to provide an explanatory overview of contemporary Ireland for students who have come to Ireland to study and who have no previous familarity with the country's political and social system.

The basic text for the course will be: John Coakley and Michael Gallagher (eds.), Politics in the Republic of Ireland, PSAI Press, 1993, reprinted 1996. Students will also be expected to consult appropriate articles and other materials made available in the library.
