Module Aims
|
- To provide students with a knowledge of differential equations sufficient for them to understand science courses which use them.
- To give students the skills to solve common differential equations in engineering and science textbooks.
|
Learning Outcomes
|
On completion of this module students will be able to:
- Solve systems of linear ordinary differential equations with constant coefficients.
- Solve well-known second order equations with variable coefficients in scientific applications.
- Solve certain first order non-linear differential equations.
