Learning Outcomes

1. Identify the architecture of the Internet in terms of concepts, protocols and technologies.
2. Describe the underlying LAN, WAN, Open System Interconnection (OSI) technologies and protocols.
3. Evaluate the local network environment with recommended hardware and software appropriate to the application.
4. Determine appropriate protection strategies and technologies in managing security issues in terms of applications within Networks.
5. Design and manage Network based on the latest network technologies, infrastructure and operating systems.
6. Design and manage implementation of WEB server and WEB site in terms of hardware, software, security, transaction and technology within regulatory boundaries.
7. Differentiate key E-Commerce models (Business to Business, Business to Consumer, Consumer to Consumer, Intranet and Extranet Models) and applications.
8. Assess the applications and solutions in E-Commerce systems and their impact on business process within regulatory boundaries.
