Description The core module of this programme is the 15 credit module, Management of Internet Enterprise Systems. This module is taken in year 2. Successful completion of this module will enable you to confidently manage internet systems in the knowledge of their technology, architecture, protocols and contemporary applications. Learning Outcomes 1. Identify and describe the architecture of internet systems technologies in terms of concepts, protocols and technologies. 2. Evaluate the system environment with recommended hardware and software appropriate to the application. 3. Design and manage Internet Systems based on the latest network technologies, infrastructure and operating systems 4. Determine appropriate protection strategies and technologies in managing security issues in terms of applications within Internet Systems. 5. Design and manage the implementation of a web presence in terms of hardware, software, security, transaction and technology within regulatory boundaries 6. Evaluate web platforms and solution acquisition 7. Assess the application of HCI principles to design of product platforms 8. Differentiate key solutions and application models of best practice 9. Develop an understanding of how Social Networks can be used for business 10. Assess the applications and solutions in E-Commerce systems and their impact on business process within regulatory boundaries. 11.
