Learning Outcomes 1. Analyse and design power transmissions using gears, clutches and belts. 2. Balance shafts statically and dynamically using vector calculus 3. Calculate the natural frequency, damped frequency of single degree of freedom systems 4. Design a vibration isolation system and calculate the response to input forces 5.
