  • To express orally and in writing one's point of view
  • To develop information-gathering skills
  •  To develop the students' economic, social & cultural knowledge of the target country.

· Authentic materials(newspaper articles, extracts of TV news and radio programmes/reports) on a variety of themes (economic, social and business topics, which are of particular relevance to the students degree programme) · Language learning (meta-cognitive) strategies: setting goals/planning language activities/ self-evaluation/ monitoring Teaching Methods:· Groups with a maximum of 20 students. · Collaborative classes/sessions. Learning Methods:· Learner-centered. · Team Work. · Use of multi-media facilities.
